Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n Dans le cadre de notre \u00e9tude, nous avons entrepris d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019effet de la qualit\u00e9 des institutions sur les investissements directs \u00e9trangers au Burkina Faso sur la p\u00e9riode 1996-2016. A l\u2019aide d\u2019un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 correction d\u2019erreur vectoriel (VECM), les r\u00e9sultats des estimations montrent qu\u2019il y a une relation de court terme mais aussi de long terme entre les variables de la qualit\u00e9 des institutions et les investissements directs \u00e9trangers. Les r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que les variables telles que la stabilit\u00e9 politique et l\u2019absence de violence, l\u2019expression et responsabilit\u00e9 d\u00e9mocratique ont un effet positif \u00e0 court terme et \u00e0 long terme sur les flux d\u2019IDE au Burkina Faso. Quant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de droit, il a un effet n\u00e9gatif sur les flux d\u2019IDE \u00e0 court terme et \u00e0 long terme sur les flux d\u2019IDE. Pour ce qui est des indicateurs macro\u00e9conomiques,ils ont des effet non moin n\u00e9glig\u00e9able sur le comportement des investissement directs etrangers au Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n Cependant, pour b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une attraction des flux d\u2019IDE au Burkina Faso, le pays doit travailler \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de ses institutions afin de pouvoir fournir un environnement propice aux investisseurs \u00e9trangers.<\/p>\n Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n As part of our study, we undertook to assess the effect of the quality of institutions on foreign direct investment in Burkina Faso over the period 1996-2016. Using a vector error correction model (VECM), the results of the estimates show that there is a short-term but also long-term relationship between the variables of the quality of institutions and direct investments. strangers. The results reveal that variables such as political stability and the absence of violence, democratic expression and accountability have a positive short-term and long-term effect on FDI flows in Burkina Faso. As for the rule of law, it has a negative effect on short-term FDI flows and long-term on FDI flows.
